Readable Aristotle is not an oxymoron.

I found this translation easier to read than other translations of Aristotle. It is much easier to unpack and follow, only the content needs to be wrestled with, which is a project in and of itself. It includes the Becker numbers, which makes it easier to have a discussion with a group.

This edition of the "Physics" works

I begin with two disclaimers: (1) I would not presume to "review" Aristotle, and (2) I do not know Greek.

I recommend this edition of the "Physics". I cannot compare it to others, since I did not read others. But I did not read others because I was satisfied with this one. I found it both comprehensible and stylistically satisfying. I found the introduction and the notes on the text well worth reading.

I have now read two books of Robin Waterfield's translations: this one, and "Conversations with Socrates", which contains four Socratic works of Xenophon. I happen to like the English style into which he renders the Greek.

A reader’s mind will oscillate between the real-life experiences and world of imagination, as he or she is presented with 24 different stories, formulated by authors of different age groups and literary experiences. The fictional lovers will find the paintings of love in many different canvasses within “Ripples of Love”. This anthology is a compilation of stories, poems, prose poetry, essays, anecdotes, short poems and Haiku etc. “Ripples of Love” has as many ripples of different wavelengths and frequency as an anthology could have. You just have to touch one of the ripples with love to create more ripples of love. The preface from Kulbhushan Trehan has expressed the true soul of this anthology. Nice Book, but to narrow focus

Nice book that covers a wide breadth of Asian art. The only issue I have with this text is that is focuses almost exclusively on ancient art from the Bronze Age until about 1000. This book is not of much interest to collectors since most of the current interest is in Asian arts from the last 300 years now.

It's a huge book and it's a good thing because there are a lot of art printed on its pages. It makes it easy to see details of art pieces, which it has plenty of. Great book for Asian art class. Many of it are on Buddhist art, which I'm a fan of. It's a bit heavy though and I couldn't imagine carrying this around with me on campus all day.
